GUIDED · BEGINNER-FRIENDLY
Snowshoeing Through Silence
Leave the everyday world behind and step into the stillness of a snow-covered Finnish forest.
Following our guide, you’ll walk among ancient spruce trees, discover stories about the surrounding nature and pause at carefully chosen places along the way. Snowshoeing is easy to learn, and no previous experience is needed.

LOCAL FARM · GUIDED EXPERIENCE
Husky Adventure Through the Snow
Feel the excitement as the huskies set off into the snowy Finnish wilderness.
Visit an authentic local husky farm, learn about the dogs and life with a working husky team, and enjoy a sled ride through the winter landscape. Afterwards, there is time to meet the dogs and capture memories with your new Arctic friends.

Reindeer & Frozen Waterfall Adventure
Meet Finland’s iconic northern animals and discover one of the region’s most beautiful winter landscapes.
At a local reindeer farm, you’ll meet the animals, learn about reindeer life and hear about their importance in northern culture. The journey continues to Hepoköngäs, Finland’s highest natural waterfall, transformed by winter into a spectacular frozen landscape.

EVENING · PRIVATE OR SMALL GROUP
Northern Lights Hunt
Follow the clearest skies and venture beyond the usual viewing places in search of the Northern Lights.
Each evening, we check the weather, cloud cover and visibility before choosing the best possible route. Depending on the conditions, we’ll travel by car or by snowmobile, with you riding safely as passengers, to reach remote viewpoints that may be inaccessible by road because of deep snow.
During the experience, we’ll stop at carefully selected locations away from artificial light and wait beneath the northern sky.

Northern Lights guarantee: The Northern Lights are a natural phenomenon and cannot be guaranteed. If they are not visible at all during the hunt, we will refund 50% of the price paid.

Snowmobile Adventure
Feel the freedom of travelling through snowy forests and across frozen winter landscapes.
Your guide will introduce you to the snowmobile and explain how to ride safely before leading you along a route selected for the conditions and experience level of the group.

Slow down on a frozen lake and experience the quiet rhythm of a traditional Finnish winter day.
Learn how to drill a hole through the ice, prepare the fishing equipment and wait for a catch surrounded by white landscapes and almost complete silence.

Not every adventure needs a guide. Arctic Nest guests can rent winter equipment and explore the surrounding trails and landscapes at their own pace.

Most guided experiences should be reserved in advance. Availability depends on the season, weather, local providers and the number of participants. Some activities require a minimum group size.
